Joyce Grabowski - I became a club member March 2000. Since I am retired I have an opportunity to exercise as long and as frequently as I want. I usually go six times a week and an hour an a half each time I am there.

I have never gone to a health club before until I first joined at Forever Young. This health club and the personal assistance of the different workouts was showing me a challenge I had to accomplish. It wasn't easy in the beginning but as each day and each week [passed, the club] became a real value to my health. In my early 30s my asthma had returned and going out in the working world was sometimes very hard. Anyone that has any health problems, please take my advice and do the right thing for yourself. Believe me I feel great and I thank God that Forever Young is here in Green Island, NY. The owners, Mary Alice and Joe Berlino, are the greatest and best people you can't imagine. Their concern and smiles are great. I recommend this health club to anyone, men, women of any age. my children are grateful that I have found the assistance I needed to help my health become a lot easier to live with and they love the tone and strength I have because of Forever Young. They are always saying I look great for being 58 and they want me to keep up the exercise because of my asthma. They have noticed the improvement in my tone up all over.

John Sawyer - I joined Forever Young Health Club in December 2002. At Forever Young there is a camraderie among staff and members alike. I enjoy the fellowship of sharing similar interests of physical mind and spirit that makes people grow. Forever Young is a gym for everyone. Staff takes pride in offering encouragement and motivation for all it's members both young and old.

George Malinowski - Although I understood the importance of good eating habits and exercise, I hadn’t really applied what I knew to my life style. About a year ago I decided that I needed to get serious about my physical conditioning and weight. At the Forever Young Health Club I have found that Joe and Mary Alice are extremely helpful in setting up an appropriate exercise regime and teaching you how to use the equipment in a safe and beneficial manner. With this helpful instruction, I began my journey to bring my weight and eating habits under control. In the year that passed, I successfully lost fifty-two pounds by engaging in cardiovascular exercise and strengthening routines, coupled with changes in what and how I eat. My wife and I attend Forever Young about four to five times a week (sometimes six when things get really stressful). We have made many friends who, like us, value the importance of regular exercise in the positive atmosphere of Forever Young. Just so you can get a sense of what has happened to my appearance as a result of the changes I made, you can see a ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture on this page. Now that you know what I look like, if you see me at the Club, please stop by and say ‘Hi’.
